Incorporated in Washington State in 1987, Genelex is a privately held corporation providing comprehensive DNA testing services that enhance the health and safety of society. Poised to enter a period of rapid and sustained growth, the company is seeking additional corporate partners, DNA testing distributors, accredited investors and imaginative, dedicated employees and advisors.
A pioneer in the field of human DNA testing, Genelex
is the first company in the world to offer direct-to-consumer DNA drug reaction
profiles. These are the bellwether tests for the 21st Century era of personalized
medicine.
Parentage and Forensic DNA Testing. One of a handful of laboratories
in the world with dual medical laboratory and paternity accreditation, Genelex
provides the broadest range of identity tests available anywhere. Our work
has been used to help resolve cases involving major crimes, child support
and custody, immigration, and inheritance.
Pharmacogenetic Testing. Genelex is first in the world to offer direct-to-consumer
DNA drug reaction profile information that help physicians reduce the incidence
of adverse drug reactions, a serious medical problem. Currently offered tests
are of the most important of the drug processing enzymes. More than half the
population have at least one defect in these systems which process one-third
of the most commonly prescribed medicines.
Nutritional Genetic Testing Linking individual
genetic variation to principles of good nutrition, we enable individuals to
obtain the maximum value from decades of research on the links between diet,
well-being and individual scope for action. Our Nutritional Genetic Panel
examines nineteen genes that play major roles in the body's detoxification
capacity, antioxidant capacity, and tissue repair. We combine this genetic
information with information from a lifestyle questionnaire to provide personalized
dietary recommendations that help keep the body working at an optimum level.
Ancestry DNA Testing Our
Ancestry DNA Testing is the only scientifically rigorous method available
for proving ancestral origins for Native American rights or just curiosity.
The test determines a person's percentage of Native American, European, African,
and Asian ancestry
