Genelex was founded in 1987 for the express purpose of performing forensic DNA analysis services to the justice system. Since that time we have completed hundreds of cases and currently perform DNA analysis by the most advanced and widely used STR methods. We have the advantage of performing STRs on both of the currently accepted instrument platforms. Our testing is performed directly for clients or under contract to law enforcement agencies.
Genelex has the distinction, in a case involving unlawful sexual contact with
a minor, of having the highest appellate acceptance for an RFLP DNA criminal
paternity. We have years of experience performing these cases and typically
provide reports so convincing that further testimony is unnecessary.
DNA
Identification Profiles
DNA Identification Profiles provide a permanent
means of conclusively identifying a person and are reccomended for persons
whose work environment poses increased exposure or risk such as police and
firefighters.
This can involve direct comparison of tissues and other samples, and often
requires the performance of “reverse paternity” calculations. Genelex’s track
record with the unusual and sub-optimal samples often encountered under these
circumstances is among the best.
Genelex and Associates have broad expertise and an outstanding
track record in building and improving forensic science capabilities in countries
throughout the world. Extensive international, forensic science, communications
and project management experience provides Genelex with the flexibility and
focus, to cost-effectively and efficiently provide assistance to countries
improving their forensic science infrastructure.
The next time you have a case or project that may require DNA testing expertise please contact us immediately for specific, no-obligation information at 800 523-3080 or info@genelex.com.
