Here’s Why:

  Higher Accuracy
Genelex tests are 100 times more discriminating than the industry standard. Average positive test results exceed 99.99%. We test 16 markers vs. the 8 to 10 tested in most labs and verify the sex of all tested individuals to assure you of reliable results. Additionally, we run all exclusions twice to confirm 100% exclusion.

  Better Customer Care
Our DNA testing specialists are trained to help you and explain our paternity services and procedures in language you can understand. Our clients have taught us that this is usually not an easy time for them, so we are committed to help you through every step of the DNA testing process.

  More Experience
Genelex, a DNA testing pioneer, is constantly upgrading and improving to make sure you get the latest in cost-effective testing methods. We 've been accredited by the AABB in DNA parentage testing since 1992 and are also a CLIA licensed medical test site and an ASCLD-LAB accredited DNA crime laboratory.

  Lower Cost
Savings from volume testing and automation are passed on to you, our client. The best legal test available anywhere is still only $475 from Genelex.

  Faster Turnaround
Five to seven-day average turnaround vs. industry standard of several weeks. Accelerated testing can return results in as little as one day.

Higher Stability
Genelex has been providing DNA testing services since 1987. We keep your case records indefinitely so if you ever need additional reports or document copies for court we can provide them. Labs lacking longevity may not be around anymore when you need access to these important legal documents.

Choosing Genelex also Benefits At-Risk Children
We donate a portion of our proceeds to Stand Up For Kids, a nationally acclaimed volunteer organization committed to the rescue of homeless and street kids. Learn more about them at www.standupforkids.org.

FEDERAL REGULATIONS ON VOLUNTARY ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF PATERNITY
The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) requires all public and private birthing hospitals to provide specific explanatory materials to parents before they sign paternity acknowledgment forms as part of the voluntary paternity establishment program. (for more details on these regulations, visit www.clasp.org/DMS/Documents/999732301.537/view_html.

PATERNITY TESTING, OFTEN VITAL TO ENSURING LONG-TERM POSITIVE OUTCOMES
Voluntary acknowledgment of paternity is difficult or impossible to rescind. If doubts about paternity surface later it can lead to intractable psychological consequences affecting child and parents. Completion of a DNA test prior to, or immediately following birth proves or disproves paternity in all cases, dispelling any doubt.

COMPLIMENTARY DNA TESTING INFORMATION PACKAGES AVAILABLE IN BULK
Genelex Corp, a pioneer in the field of DNA paternity testing, is pleased to assist your service in meeting PRWORA patient information requirements. Upon request, brochures and educational materials explaining the range of testing options and outcomes will be sent to your location for inclusion in information packets you provide to expectant parents. They will help meet PRWORA requirements and you will be assured that you have provided the most complete and up-to-date DNA parentage testing information available.

These are particularly useful and especially important if people are interested in confirming paternity before birth or before signing the voluntary acknowledgment of paternity forms.
