Started in 1987, Genelex
Corporation is an internationally recognized leader
in paternity testing and forensic DNA analysis. Our
people have played a key role in the invention and development
of technologies in use by identity and paternity testing
laboratories throughout the world. We perform parentage
testing by all generally accepted methods and can apply
the broadest spectrum of paternity tests available anywhere.
We have performed DNA profiling on more than 75,000
individuals. DNA identity testing is our only business.
Included in our more
than 15,000 cases is a Supreme Court review and paternity
testing that was key to settlement of the widely publicized
$800,000,000 Larry Hillblom estate. Our DNA parentage
testing has been used to help resolve cases involving
child support, child custody, immigration, insurance,
inheritance, and serious criminal charges. Some of our
cases are high profile, but we provide confidential
paternity testing for thousands of regular Moms and
Dads everywhere.
Here are some of the inspection and quality
assurance programs we participate in:
Accreditation by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) Parentage Testing Committee for DNA
parentage testing since 1992.
Accreditation by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) Laboratory
Accreditation Board in forensic DNA testing since 1998. Genelex is one of a handful of laboratories
in the world to hold both of these accreditations.
Completion of more than forty external proficiency tests by the College of American Pathologists
and Collaborative Testing Services.
Ongoing blind external proficiency testing as required by contract DNA testing that we perform
for law enforcement agencies.
Participation in National Institute of Standards and Technology Forensic DNA Testing.
Founded in 1987, Genelex Corporation is accredited by
the AABB Parentage Testing Committee in DNA parentage testing since 1992
