Genelex offers multiple options when it comes to paying for your testing, learn more about insurance and other payment options below:

Patient pre-pay cash payment is the preferred least expensive option, as very few insurances cover testing in full. Medicare coverage is limited to CYP2D6 for patients initiating amitriptyline or nortriptyline for treatment of depressive disorders or for patients taking tetrabenazine doses greater than 50mg/day and to CYP2C19 patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) that are initiating or reinitiating clopidogrel (Plavix®) therapy. Genelex does not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time. Medicare Advantage covers in many instances. If you are on a high-deductible plan, ordering the pre-pay test directly from Genelex may be your best option. You should check with your benefits administrator to see if you are required to get pre-authorization for testing. Depending on your insurance plan, you will be responsible for your deductible, co-payment and any co-insurance amounts.

Genelex is committed to making the benefits of Genelex's Pharmacogenetic Testing accessible.
